I am an Economist at the Bank of Italy in the Climate Change and Sustainability Hub since February 2022. I previously worked in the Directorate for Economics, Statistics, and Research of the Bank of Italy, and I received a Ph.D. in Economics and Finance from Bocconi University in 2019.
My research interests lie at the intersection of climate economics, behavioral economics and household finance.
My work studies how agents form beliefs and how these shape their economic and financial choices, building on insights from psychology. My current research applies this lens to climate change, examining how climate change and related policies affect the macroeconomic expectations of households and firms. In my most recent projects, I also investigate the economic impacts of climate change and the challenges and opportunities it poses to the real economy and the financial system.
